The Coalition Government will be providing up to $1.5 million to for a tailored project to reduce family violence experienced by women and children in Bourke Shire.

This funding forms part of the $25 million Indigenous-focused package under the Third Action Plan of the National Plan to reduce Violence against Women and their Children 2010-2022.

Birrang, a local community service with specialist experience will be delivering the service.
